FAQs

How often do I need to see you?

This all depends on what your goals are.  Are you able to work out on your own? Do you need someone to encourage you? Some people see me twice monthly.  They work out on their own and are motivated to push themselves.  Some people see me three times a week – these people don’t want to think about their workout at all and just want me to bring the workout to them!

Can’t I just do this on my own?

It’s critical your personal workout is carefully developed, to reduce the risk of injury.  I’ll make sure you have lots of different exercises so you don’t get board.  Providing the necessary variety to achieve the best results.  The time will fly by with me.  We’ll discuss weekly goals to keep you focused and on track.  You won’t be alone with me!

Why should I lift weights? What kind of results can I expect?

Am I too old to work out?

As long as you have no major health concerns, and your doctor is encouraging you to start working out, you are never too old.  Being active and moving always helps to prolong ones mobility.  I have a speciality in Older Adult Fitness and I think it’s amazing how physical activity helps independent living.

Do injuries prevent me from working out?

As long as your doctor has cleared you for working out, I find that with movement and proper exercise it helps the problem areas.  I have worked closely with a physiotherapist, she has taught me the importance of proper form and posture while working out, and in regular daily activities.  It’s so important to work with an experienced trainer especially when you have injuries.
